Belize was tropical and hot, and we had to watch out for ants underfoot! Joel warned me about ants near the base of tree trunks. He wore sandals and shorts, while I wore boots and pants with socks tucked in. Naturally he got a little too close to a tree and was attacked by ants. HAH!
