Waimea Canyon, Halfway Down

I waited here for Peter to finish hiking back up from the bottom. The view was beautiful, but my knees were killing me. The hike is fairly mellow until the halfway point, where it becomes extremely steep, lush and muddy. I decided my knees had had enough for the day so I sat here and took lots of photos. Apparently the river at the bottom was very loud and rushing.
