The PostScript fonts can be edited in a plain text editor and viewed
in a PDF viewer.
The TrueType fonts can be downloaded to your machine
or installed as web fonts for your website.
I created the
Celtic title font shown below
using TypeTool 3 on the Mac
and public domain Celtic art and designs.
I am interested in
programmatically generated art such as the
fun little fractal shown below.
I made it with PostScript.
I used very simple math to translate the field, drew an image, then translated
the field again. I did this recursively until I hit a maximum depth of something like 15.
I tweaked the colors, shapes, and angles until I got an interesting image.
You can edit a fractal in plain text (if you dare) and then view it in a PDF viewer.
Be warned: translating the file to PDF form will take a long time and will produce
a very large file.
Family tree pages
Bonnevie in French means good life.
The Bonnevie family pages
aim to document
my maternal family history and genealogy,
capture the beauty of photos and records
passed down through the years,
and present snippets of New Brunswick French-Canadian culture.
There is a large community of Bonnevies in both France as well as New
Brunswick, Canada. Many migrated south along the east coast through
Maine.
